Choosing and Using Rosey
Which Rosey formula is right for me?
Choose Complete Elixir if you want a concentrated once-daily serum with a soft, silky finish. It was created to support the appearance of redness, hydration, barrier, texture and tone.
Choose Serum Spritz if you want the potency of a serum in a weightless spritz. It leaves skin feeling hydrated and comfortable without adding another heavy step.
Choose both and save 10% if you want both formulas and two distinct moments of care within your day.
Do I need to experience redness to use Rosey?
No. Both formulas were created for sensitive, redness-prone skin, but their hydration and skin-conditioning benefits are not exclusive to visible redness.
Rosey can also suit someone looking for high-performance formulas, sensorial textures and a more considered daily ritual.
Can I use Complete Elixir and Serum Spritz together?
Yes. If using both, apply one in the morning and the other in the evening rather than layering them.
Choose which formula belongs at each end of the day according to your skin and routine.
Can I use Rosey during an active flare?
During an active flare, pause anything that may be adding to the reaction, including Rosey.
Give your skin time to settle, then reintroduce products carefully. If redness is persistent, progressing or distressing, speak with a doctor or dermatologist.
How should I patch test a Rosey formula?
Apply a small amount to clean, dry skin on the inner forearm once daily for three days. If you are introducing both formulas, test each one on a separate area.
If no irritation occurs, begin using the formula on your face as directed. Record the result in your Rosey Skin Journal so you have something clear to return to.
A patch test cannot predict every individual response. Stop using the product if irritation occurs.
Can I use Rosey while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Every ingredient is disclosed on the relevant product page and packaging.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding are individual medical circumstances. Take the complete ingredient list to your doctor or midwife for advice specific to you.
Ingredients, Fragrance and Testing
What is neurocosmetic skincare?
Neurocosmetics explores the relationship between the skin and its signalling pathways, including the visible effects associated with skin stress.
Rosey formulas include Neurophroline™, an award-winning neurocosmetic active studied for the visible effects of skin stress.
What is the mind-skin connection?
Redness can change with stress, sleep, environment, hormones, emotion and routine. The skin often reflects what is happening around it.
Rosey brings high-performance formulas together with calm rituals and the Rosey Skin Journal App, giving the formula, the experience and the wider context of skin a place within care.
Do the formulas contain niacinamide?
Yes. Complete Elixir contains 10% niacinamide and Serum Spritz contains 5%.
The percentages describe the concentration within each finished formula and should not be added together. Both formulas use a PC grade selected for its low level of nicotinic acid, the impurity usually associated with niacinamide sting or flushing.
Do Rosey formulas contain fragrance?
Yes, intentionally. Both formulas contain a light natural rose fragrance alongside Rosa Damascena flower water.
Fragrance is part of the Rosey ritual. The scent marks the application and preserves the sensory pleasure often missing from products created for sensitive skin.
Both finished formulas completed independent patch testing with their fragrance included. Individual sensitivities can still vary, so patch test first if fragrance has caused sensitivity for you before
Are the formulas dermatologically approved?
Yes. Both finished formulas completed independent repeat insult patch testing and were dermatologist reviewed.
Across the two studies, 111 people completed testing. No adverse reactions were reported.
Dermatologically approved · Safe for sensitive skin.
Where can I find the complete ingredient lists?
The complete INCI list appears on each product page, on the packaging and in Rosey’s ingredient glossary.
