EXPLORE
Get to know the ingredients, ideas and people behind Rosey. Save the cards and practices you want to revisit in your favourites.
LIFE IS ART. NOTICE IT.
The changing light. A familiar voice. A place you love coming back to. Rosey makes room to notice your own life rather than spend every spare moment watching someone else’s. Keep a detail when you want to, then go and enjoy it.
Your skin, over time
GET TO KNOW YOUR SKIN
A change in how your skin feels. A comfortable day. A detail you want to remember.
Keep an observation alongside what was happening around you. Return to your entries over time, or use them to help describe your experience at an appointment.
Your observations, together
A RECORD YOU CAN RETURN TO
Some details are easier to notice when you can look back.
Skin insights bring your recorded ratings and observations together, helping you explore what appeared alongside changes in your skin. They reflect your own record, without identifying causes or offering a diagnosis.
From noticing to conversation
A RECORD TO SHARE WITH YOUR CLINICIAN
Bring your skin observations to your next appointment, with the details ready to hand.
Choose a date range and review your report before saving it as a PDF or web page to share with your dermatologist or another health professional. Include written skin observations and episode details if you wish.
Your journal reflections, gratitude notes and Things you love remain private and are not included in the report.
A moment for yourself

About the journal
Is the Journal free?
Yes. Rosey is complimentary, with no Rosey product purchase required.
Who is the Journal for?
Rosey is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It was created with sensitive and redness-prone skin in mind, and its noticing, writing and listening spaces are open to everyone.
How do I begin?
Open the web Journal and create a free Rosey account with an email address and password. Verify your email, then choose a separate journal passphrase for your private writing. Keep the passphrase somewhere safe and consider saving the optional recovery key.
Do I need to join Rosey emails?
No. Marketing emails are optional and separate from your Journal account. You can unsubscribe without losing your account or writing.
Where is my writing saved?
Your private writing and favourites are encrypted on your device before they are saved to your Rosey account, so you can return to them on another device. Rosey cannot read your private writing. Your account details and some technical information are handled separately, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
What happens if I forget my journal passphrase?
Use your saved recovery key if you have one. Rosey cannot restore encrypted writing if you lose the passphrase and do not have a recovery key. Resetting your account password does not reset the journal passphrase.
Can I use Rosey on my phone?
Yes. Open journal.roseyskin.co in your browser on your phone, tablet or computer. You can also add Rosey to your phone’s Home Screen for easy access.
On iPhone
Open the Journal in Safari. Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. If shown, turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add.
On Android
Open the Journal in Chrome. Tap the three-dot menu, then Add to Home screen or Install app, and follow the prompts.
The Rosey Journal iPhone app is coming soon. Until then, enjoy the Journal through your browser or Home Screen.
Do I need to use it every day?
No. Keep a skin observation, thought or discovery whenever it feels useful. There are no streaks to maintain.
What do Skin insights show?
They bring together the ratings and details you recorded. They can help you notice patterns in your own record, but they cannot diagnose a condition or establish what caused a change.
Can I export my skin observations?
Yes. Choose a date range and review your skin report before saving it as a PDF or web page to share with your dermatologist or another health professional. You can include written skin observations and episode details. Journal responses, gratitude notes and Things you love are not included.
Is account sync a backup?
No. Signing in lets you return to your saved writing across devices, but account sync is not a separate backup. Save a personal backup from within the Journal to keep your own copy.
Can I write in a notebook instead?
Of course. Take a prompt with you and write wherever you like. Rosey is there when you want a place to return to.
How do I get started?
Open the Journal and choose “Explore the Journal”. You do not need to sign up for emails to begin. If you would like new formulas, skin insights and stories from The Edit in your inbox, you can choose to join Rosey emails separately. You can unsubscribe at any time and keep using the Journal.
Can I add it to my phone or computer?
Yes. The Journal is a web app that opens in your browser. On supported devices and browsers, you can also add it to your home screen or install it on your computer. Follow the instructions offered when you begin, or find them in Settings.
Do I need to use it every day?
No. Return whenever you want to make a note, listen, write or explore. There are no streaks or daily targets.
What do skin insights show?
Skin insights summarise the entries you have saved, including recorded redness levels and the context you selected. They help you review your observations over time, without determining what caused a change in your skin.
Can I write in a notebook instead?
Absolutely. Choose a journal prompt and follow it on paper, or write and save your response within the app.
Is Rosey medical advice?
No. Rosey offers general wellbeing and skincare information. Speak with a qualified health professional about symptoms that persist or concern you.

PRIVATE WRITING, YOUR WAY
Your private writing is encrypted on your device before it is saved to your Rosey account. Only you can unlock it. Rosey cannot read your private writing.
Keep your journal passphrase and optional recovery key somewhere safe. If you lose both, Rosey cannot restore your encrypted writing.
Your account keeps your writing available across devices, but Rosey does not provide a separate automatic backup. Save a personal backup within the Journal to keep your own copy.
